After getting restricted to just 11 seats in the earlier assembly election in Andhra Pradesh, YSR Congress is facing a deep existential crisis in the state. A new situation has come up in this context now and it has something to do with professor Nageshwar Rao.
This senior media personality commented recently that Pawan Kalyan approached union home minister Amit Shah to arrest and tournament YS Jagan. This was extensively celebrated and carried by the YCP ecosystem as they made Rao look like a media hero by praising him for this report.
However, Nageshwar Rao quickly clarified later that he was misinformed on this topic and sought complete distancing from the same. And now this is followed by another interesting episode as YCP affiliated media channels, publicised news that AP Police arrived at the residence of Nageshwar Rao in Hyderabad to arrest him.
Several social media handles associated with YSR Congress extensively carried the news about this alleged attempt. However, even this was quickly disposed by the authorities that there was no such police action against Nageshwar Rao.
In fact, about himself came in front of the media and said he was comfortably living in his house in Hyderabad, and there is no police action against him. He added that he did not even receive a phone call from the police for that matter.
Situation again turned out to be against YSR Congress group on social media as this is the second time in two weeks that they have become a laughing stock for hyping up this matter, only for it to turn against them ultimately.
