Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State President Daggubati Purandeswari is protesting against liquor sales and alleging massive corruption under Jagan’s rule.
She is openly exposing the unaccounted money flowing within the YSR Congress by visiting liquor stores and victims in hospitals.
Purandeswari has recently assumed the role of BJP state president, and she is certainly making an impact, unlike previous state presidents who often acted as allies of Jagan.
It’s no secret that the BJP has struggled to gain ground in Andhra Pradesh due to its close ties with the ruling party, rather than maintaining a firm stance on key issues.
Even now, many argue that the BJP’s central leadership is not troubling Jagan. In this context, Purandeswari’s aggressive stance against Jagan and her fight against the liquor mafia may bring no benefits to the party.
