Sindhu Brings Historic Silver for India

Sindhu created history bringing the first ever Silver medal for India. The final face off with Carolina Marin of Spain had been a goose-bumps giving match, with Sindhu and Marin giving a tough fight to each other, each moment. The spine-thrilling match was a visual treat when Marin gave the lost shot to win the match with 19-21, 21-13 and 21-15

As we know that, we were sure to win the medal but unsure about the gold. Sindhu really gave a tug-of-war kind of competition to the world champion Carolina Marin. The win hasn’t been a cake walk for the number one, with Sindhu chasing for the gold very closely. Though, she fell short of the gold medal, the first ever silver medal is going to make us proud of her. Hail O Sindhu!
