The Supreme Court has granted bail to YSR Congress Narasapuram MP Raghu Rama Krishnam Raju in a sedition case. The MP who is in Secunderabad Army Hospital will be released once the Supreme Court’s Verdict copy is received. He may be released on Monday.
The Supreme Court has ordered the MP not to speak to media and on social media. It is one of the bail conditions. Meanwhile, it is said that the MP has his own plans to take on the Andhra Pradesh Government. The first thing would be the legal fight on Police Brutality.
“Raju will move a Privilege motion in Lok Sabha. His family already complained about the CID to the Lok Sabha Speaker. He will also file cases on the CID officials and the medical board who gave a report in favor of the Government in this issue. There is substantial evidence in this case against them and this will be trouble for all those involved.,” a source in the know told us.
“It is not going to be a verbal war going forward. Raju is determined to fight every contentious issue related to the state in the courts. This is something a strategy used by Jagan himself against the then Chandrababu Naidu Government. That way the Government can not trouble RRR. We have seen how the government is not making decisions and policies in tune with the courts,” the source added.
