Ex-BJP leader and Goshamahal MLA Raja Singh has once again made strong remarks targeting the Telangana BJP. He stated that he is now an independent MLA and can speak freely on any issue he chooses.
Raja Singh claimed the BJP in Telangana is facing a crisis due to the actions of a few party leaders. Referring to recent statements by Chevella MP, he said more such outbursts can be expected in the coming days.
He alleged that many BJP leaders are silent out of fear of losing their positions. According to him, the party missed its chance in Telangana because of poor leadership decisions.
Raja Singh added that he now has the freedom to raise issues in the Assembly sessions without waiting for clearance from party bosses. In the past, he claimed, he wasn’t allowed to speak until the sessions ended.
Interestingly, Raja Singh hasn’t entirely shut the door on the BJP. He said he would consider returning if the Delhi BJP leadership asked him to rejoin. He also promised to expose internal issues within the Telangana BJP.
On the upcoming Assembly sessions, Singh criticised the Congress government, alleging that they were using reports on the Kaleshwaram Project and 42% BC reservations to divert attention from real problems.
The Assembly and Legislative Council sessions in Telangana are set to begin this Saturday.
