Rajya Sabha elections are nearing and aspirants are trying their luck desperately. This elections are brewing one more crisis in Congress party. JC Diwakar Reddy who is speaking against the party in recent times is planning to enter Rajya Sabha fray using side entrance. Congress party is in no mood to put him in the fray but JC is planning to contest as Independent collecting the signatures of his colleagues in Congress Party.
JC announced that he had support of enough MLAs to nominate himself for the election. On the other side, Congress high command is taking this issue as serious breach of discipline and is threatening to dismiss all the Congress MLAs who supported JC’s rebel candidature. However, JC claims that he already has the support letters of 11 MLAs from his district.
