YSR Congress MLA, Roja’s suspension proved to more costly to the party than the actual suspension. The party thought of making use of the 5 days session to pin down the government to the maximum extent on issues like Call Money, Spurious Liquor and Bauxite Mining etc.

All these are serious issues and are taking toll on the government. However Roja’s suspension came as a rude shock. Since she is a lady MLA, Jagan and his party are forced to support her and take up that issue keeping other issues aside.
As a result the precious little time for YSR Congress is going waste. Jagan reportedly warned her several times not to resort to abuse but she would not listen. Finally that proved costly for her and the party. On the other side, there is no sympathy on her in the people too. Even hardcore YSR Congress supporters are finding it tough to say she does not deserve the punishment.
