After gaining just 23 seats in the 2019 election, Telugu Desam Party was written off by a few political analysts and media houses. But in a span of just 5 years, Chandrababu has inspired TDP to a remarkable comeback, as is to be understood through the new survey from the RTV agency.
According the Ravi Prakash’s RTV survey, Telugu Desam Party is in a position to win the majority of the seats in the AP election on its own.
According to the RTV survey report on the AP polls, TDP alone is winning 95 MLA seats in AP, while the TDP+ alliance is on course to win 111+ MLA seats.
TDP Winning Majority on Its Own.
111 for TDP+
TDP: 95
YSRCP: 63
JSP: 13
BJP: 3
Congress: 1
Another significant improvement is seen in the case of JSP which has gone from 1 seat in 2019 to being projected to win 13 MLA seats in 2024. BJP winning 3 is also a pleasant surprise.
Going by the RTV survey, Telugu Desam has gained massively in the last five years and could well be in the position to win the polls on its own even without the support of the allies.
