Last night, noted senior Telugu journalist Ravi Prakash delivered a shocker of sorts to the YCP high command by publishing his survey report on AP polls and projecting that TDP will win 22/52 seats in the Rayalaseema region. From 3 seats in 2019 to 22 seats in 2024, the TDP+ alliance is seeing a massive jump in this belt.
Ravi Prakash who is currently heading RTV has now released his new report on Guntur, Prakasham, Nellore, and Krishna districts and this makes for a teary-eyed watch for YCP followers.
The projection posted by the RTV media outlet are as below and they project a TDP+ sweep in AP.
Nellore District [10 Seats]
TDP : 5
YCP : 5
Prakasam District [12 Seats]
TDP : 10
YCP : 2
Guntur District [17 Seats]
TDP : 14
YCP : 2
JSP : 1
Krishna District [16 Seats]
TDP : 8
YCP : 6
JSP : 1
BJP : 1
In 2019, YCP swept all 10 seats in Nellore and cut to 2024, TDP could cut the deficit to 5, which in turn boosted the overall prospects of the alliance.
Prakasham is also projecting an overwhelming TDP wave, followed by the conventional stronghold, Guntur. Even in Krishna, the tide is clearly in favor of TDP.
The projections for the total list are:
TDP: 37
YSRCP: 15
JSP: 2
BJP: 1
At this rate, a clear TDP+ wave is sweeping Andhra Pradesh in this year’s election and it could be tough going for Jagan’s YCP.
