Former Home Minister and Congress leader, Sabitha Indra Reddy refuted the rumours of joining Telangana Rashtra Samiti. Recently, there were rumours that Sabitha will be admitted to the ruling party and be made as the first woman minister in KCR’s cabinet.

Sabitha had given an indirect explanation to these rumours by criticizing the government’s changes to Chevella-Pranahitha project. She said that the government’s new plan will not work and will do injustice to Ranga Reddy district.
She also demanded National Project status for the project on the lines of Polavaram Project of Andhra Pradesh. However the old design of Pranahitha-Chevella Project had got majority of permissions. Now changing the design will bring every thing to square one.
