BARC released the Ratings for Telugu news channels for Week 46 in the 15 plus all age group category. The biggest highlight was Sakshi slipping to the eighth spot, even falling below a small channel like Prime 9.
This is a shocking result for a mainstream channel like Sakshi. Analysts often link Sakshi’s performance to the popularity of YSR Congress, which makes this drop even more concerning for the channel management.
TV9 and NTV took the first and second spots. ABN and TV5 secured the third and fourth positions. V6 landed at the fifth spot.
In the Hyderabad Ratings, ABN and NTV continued to surprise. ABN claimed the number one spot, while NTV stood at number seven.
TV5, TV9, V6, Sakshi, and Prime 9 were placed in the second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth positions respectively.
