BARC released the Ratings for Telugu News Channels for Week 44 in the 15+ age group. You see TV9 and NTV still at the top, yet both channels recorded a sharp fall this week. TV9 dropped from 92.9 to 75.2, and NTV fell from 66.1 to 59.1.
The rest of the Top 5 did not show the same pattern. TV5 in third place saw a drop of only 1 Rating. ABN in fourth improved by 0.8. V6 in fifth recorded a small fall of 0.6.
10TV stood in sixth place, while Sakshi held the eighth position. T News, known as the BRS Mouthpiece, jumped from 4.8 to 7.4 ahead of the Jubilee Hills By-election. Even with this rise, the numbers remain far from what the party wants.
In Hyderabad, TV9 led the chart. ABN took the second position. TV5, V6, Sakshi, and NTV followed in third, fourth, fifth, and sixth places.
