Ahead of the coming election, let alone devising winning strategies, keeping hold of his own party MLAs has become a challenging task for YCP chief YS Jagan. He already lost 4 MLAs including Anam Ramnarayana Reddy and Kotamreddy.
Now, in a major shocker for Jagan, he is having to deal with an MLA situation in his own bastion of Kadapa.
Rajampet YCP MLA, Meda Mallikarjuna Reddy’s brother Meda Vijaysekhar Reddy met with TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu.
As per media reports, Vijaysekhar Reddy told Chandrababu Naidu that he is willing to join TDP and work under Naidu’s leadership.
Naidu is said to have conveyed to Vijaysekhar Reddy that they will work together and fulfil the ultimate objective of bringing TDP back to power.
The fact that this has happened in Jagan’s fortress of Rayalaseema region and moreover in his home district of Kadapa has become a hot topic now.
Will this just be an MLA brother meeting Jagan incident? Or is this an indication that the MLA is also willing to join TDP? If so, then the catastrophic impact will surely be felt by YCP in the coming polls.
