Land disputes are common these days. We keep hearing one distressing news or the other pertaining to land disputes every now and again. But here’s one incident that took place in Haripuram, Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh that is leaving netizens in a state of shock.
In a shocking development, mother-daughter duo identified as Dalamma and Savitri, natives of Haripuram were buried alive by alleged land grabbers in the area.
The accused, Rama Rao, Anand Rao, and Prakash Rao have allegedly tried to inflict harm, or possibly even kill Dalamma and Savitri over a land grab incident.
The victims say they own a piece of land that they bought with their hard-earned money and the said land grabbers had been trying to occupy the same illegally. After learning that the two women are on their own and have no support, they allegedly tried to kill them by burying them alive.
Earlier today, the two women were buried alive in mud. The locals noticed what happened and rescued them. A police case has been filed and further investigation is underway now.
