YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is going to have his final Siddham meeting at Medarametla village of Addanki constituency on 10th of this month. YSR Congress which is on a Sticky Wicket like how Prashant Kishor described is banking big time on these meetings.
Misusing Government money and muscle, huge crowds are being mobilized to these meetings to show the crowds and impress the meetings. Addanki Siddham meeting has much more than what the eye meets.
Addanki is chosen as the venue for this meeting to target TDP MLA Gottipati Ravi.
Gottipati Ravikumar won as TDP MLA in 2019 election despite a huge Jagan wave across the state. He also completed a hat-trick of victories from the same Addanki constituency.
Right from the beginning of his term, Gottipatiwas the prime target of Jagan to get a hold on Prakasam district where TDP got four seats even in an anti-wave election.
There was a non-stop vendetta on Gottipati’s businesses. The vigilance department officials are continuously after Gottipati and even cancelled some leases of his granite quarries and its allied polishing industries.
Similar witch-hunting was unleashed on Siddha Raghava Rao and he got the permits restored after joining YSR Congress but Gottipati did not budge and is only fighting the government.
Gottipati belonging to the Kamma community which Jagan hates to the core makes things worse.
Ravi made Lokesh‘s Yuvagalam meeting in the same village a massive success. Chandrababu‘s meetings in the constituency were also big successes. Jagan is angry with Ravi for resisting every move of his to bring him into the party.
Moreover, TDP in Prakasam district is bustling with Energy. After Balaram shifted to YSR Congress, the Group Politics have disappeared in the District and they are working together like never before. TDP is claiming a stunning result in the District this time.
YSR Congress is trying to mobilize crowds from six districts to make Addanki Siddham meeting a success. The idea is to pressure Ravi in his own constituency. But then all surveys point out that he is on course for a massive victory once again.
