Telangana Congress party corporator Rajasekhar has written to Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar about KCR’s absenteeism in state Assembly.
The opposition leader demanded that KCR’s salary and allowances be stopped. Despite being an opposition leader, KCR was not attending the Assembly, the corporator alleged in the letter.

One could see this coming as there is a rule saying that a member of Assembly has to attend the Assembly at least once in 60 business days.
Also, the same issue was the case with Andhra Pradesh YCP leader Jagan Mohan Reddy. But his absence was widely criticized and Jagan was forced to come to the Assembly. He was even threatened of disqualification which got Jagan to attend for one day.

In Telangana, the situation is the same. But none pointed fingers at opposition leader KCR. For the first time, someone has complained about the matter. Even CM Revanth Reddy only requested KCR to come to the Assembly and discuss people’s issues.
It has to be noted that the letter comes at a time when KCR is all set to attend the Assembly on March 12.
