Supreme refuses to help YSR Congress

YSR Congress, YSR Congress Supreme Court Petition, YSR Congress Supreme Court Appeal, YSR Congress Supreme Court Speaker Kodela, YSR Congress High Court Petition,Supreme Court today took up the petition of YSR Congress urging the apex court to interfere in the ongoing defections in Andhra Pradesh. YSR Congress MP Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy informed to the court that 20 MLAs of their party switched to the ruling Party and the Speaker, Kodela Siva Prasada Rao is not taking action on them.

However the court asked the petitioner to approach the high court which will be able to solve the case fast. The Apex court struck off YSR Congress petition on this issue. Hyderabad High Court earlier did not decide up on the petitions on defection of TDP (TS) MLAs and so YSR Congress is unlikely to get any respite from there.

We know that 20 MLAs of YSR Congress have joined the ruling Telugu Desam Party. AP Assembly Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao rejected the applications of their disqualification stating that the applications are not in the prescribed format. YSR Congress approached the Supreme Court over that.
