Telangana Judicial Officers who knocked the Supreme Court door demanding the division on the basis of nativity got a disappointing Judgment. The court refused their long-standing demand and supported Hyderabad High Court’s earlier order of division on the basis of Seniority.

Division on the basis of nativity is a longstanding demand of the Telangana Judicial Officers. They say they were discriminated on the basis of the region so far. But then, their argument did not stand in the court. The judicial officers are demanding that the Telangana Government should file a review petition on their behalf.
On the other side, Hyderabad High Court division is also round the corner. The division may happen early the next year before the Assembly Elections in Andhra Pradesh. Central Government is also keen to divide the High Court as soon as possible. This judgment may create new problems ahead of the High Court division.
