A 25-year-old woman, identified as Lakshmi (name changed), died under suspicious circumstances in an OYO room in Madhapur.
Lakshmi, a resident of Madhapur and an employee at a private company, had met a businessman named Rajesh Rao (name changed) from Chennai at the Golden Hive OYO.
They consumed alcohol in their room, but Rajesh fell ill and was hospitalized overnight. When he returned to the room the next day, he discovered Lakshmi dead.
Lakshmi had extended their stay and ordered food in the morning, but she stopped responding to hotel staff calls.
The police suspect her death may be linked to poisoning, collecting samples from the room for examination. They have opened an investigation into this suspicious death.
The body was sent to the OGH mortuary for a postmortem. The case raises questions about the circumstances surrounding Lakshmi’s demise, and the investigation is ongoing.
