TDP and BJP which entered in to alliance for GHMC elections have decided for friendly contest in eight divisions. Both the parties have obligations on these seven seats and so have fielded candidates in these seats.

BJP had given B-form to its candidates in three TDP divisions while TDP had given B-forms to candidates in five BJP divisions. So these eight divisions will have candidates of both the parties.
Earlier it was decided that TDP will be contesting in 87 divisions while BJP will take the remaining 63 divisions. 1939 candidates are in fray for GHMC elections including the candidates of the parties, their rebel candidates and independents.
