For the first time after becoming the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Chandrababu Naidu visited NTR Bhavan in Hyderabad today. He received a grand welcome from the Telangana TDP workers, leaders and supporters.
Speaking at the NTR Bhavan, Chandrababu Naidu thanked Telangana TDP leaders and supporters who worked hard for the party’s victory.
He thanked lakhs of people who came to Andhra Pradesh from Hyderabad to vote for him in the recently held general elections.
He stated that TDP will regain its lost glory in Telangana soon. He promised to resurrect TDP in Telangana as it was born here. He added that AP and Telangana are like two eyes for him.
Chandrababu remarked that only a few TDP leaders left the party but the party workers didn’t leave the party even though it was not in power all these years in Telangana.
Chandrababu also remembered the event held at Gachibowli Stadium in support of him when he was illegally arrested last year.
He stated that he felt proud after watching the support he got from Hyderabad and Telangana when he was arrested.
He pointed out that he was the one who started the knowledge economy in Hyderabad, which was later carried forward by Congress and BRS.
Chandrababu Naidu thanked Telangana CM Revanth Reddy for holding a meeting yesterday to resolve the persisting issues between Telugu states. He said there is a need for both states to be together for their prosperity.
“Even though there is a Congress government in Telangana and an NDA government in Andhra, we will work together for people’s welfare,” stated Chandrababu.
