Ranbir Kapoor’s Ramayana has generated interest ahead of its theatrical release. The epic drama, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, has received attention following the release of its trailer. The timeless story of Ramayana gets a musical expression with Jai Jai Ram, the first single from the epic starring Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi.
Unveiled on the occasion of Vinayaka Chavithi, the song takes audiences through several chapters of Lord Ram’s journey. It brings together different moments from the epic. The song also offers a glimpse of the emotional bond between Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi, who portray Ram and Sita.
AR Rahman’s composition carries a serene devotional quality, while Dr Kumar Vishwas’ lyrics add a spiritual dimension. Shreya Ghoshal and Arijit Singh lend their vocals to the composition, giving the song an emotional quality. The visuals complement the song.
Produced by Prime Focus Studios, DNEG, and Monster Mind Creations, the film is scheduled for a global release on November 5th, followed by its India release on November 8th during the Diwali festive season.
