TDP Office Attack Case

An interesting development took place on Monday in the case of the attack on the TDP office in Gannavaram, Krishna district during the YSRCP government.

The complainant, Satyavardhan, appeared in the special court for SC and ST cases in Vijayawada and submitted an affidavit stating that he was not involved in the case.

After the government changed, the Gannavaram police registered a case regarding the attack based on Satyavardhan’s complaint, who was working as an operator in the TDP office at the time of the attack.

88 people, including former MLA Vamsi, have been named as accused. Up to 45 people have already been arrested. While Vamsi and others went to the Supreme Court for bail, the Supreme Court suggested that they approach the lower court. As a result, all of them filed petitions here.

Arguments on them began in the SC and ST cases court on Monday.

Meanwhile, the complainant, Satyavardhan, came to the court and explained to the judicial officer Himabindu that he was not involved in the case and that he was not there when the incident took place.

He said that the police forced him and called him as a witness and made him sign. He said that he wanted protection from the police and that he was withdrawing the case. He submitted the affidavit along with the CD of the video recording of his statement.

The attack on the TDP office happened in broad daylight.

Everyone in the state knows Vallabhaneni Vamsi and his men are behind the attack. The case was not pursued back then because the Jagan Government did not want to.

It is a wonder that the witnesses of the prosecution have turned hostile in the case.

To please a Government, we usually see people saying the wrong witness. But in the Telugu Desam Government and that too in a new government, the witness turned hostile and is acting against the Government.

This is pathetic, to say the least. Furthermore, the complainant Satyavardhan is an operator working in the TDP office.

This only indicates how Vallabhaneni Vamsi and the YSR Congress still had a stronghold and the Government is not exercising its power as much as it should.

Furthermore, it is the case of Vallabhaneni Vamsi who ditched TDP in difficult times and who tried to malign the character of Nara Bhuvaneshwari.

If the court allowed the case to be withdrawn, it would be a black mark on the Government. No wonder the TDP cadres are extremely displeased.
