As the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 unfold, political analysts are carefully assessing the landscape, anticipating shifts in key states such as Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Bihar, Rajasthan, Haryana, and Delhi.
Observations suggest that the BJP may experience a loss in the number of Lok Sabha seats in these regions.
Because of this, there’s a chance the BJP won’t get enough seats (272) to form the government on its own. They might need help from their allies. The BJP will have to depend on their allies (NDA) to form the government.
However, the BJP’s traditional allies, including JDU, JDS, and Shinde’s Shiv Sena, are also facing challenges in securing substantial seats, according to many psephologists.
So, the big question is, which state could help the BJP make up for these lost seats and secure enough to form the government again with Modi as Prime Minister? The answer is Andhra Pradesh.
Many experts, including Prashant Kishor, believe that the TDP alliance could be the game-changer. Since TDP recently joined the NDA, their success in the elections could be crucial for Modi to remain Prime Minister.
If the TDP alliance can win more than 15 seats in Andhra Pradesh, it could play a key role for the BJP power center in the central government, which will also significantly benefit the state.
