BJP supporters usually boast about their party being against to dolling out sops and populist schemes. They often claim their party to be a progressive party. We have seen the party announcing Loan Waivers in some states and now it is the turn of Telangana BJP.

In a bid to come to power in 2019, Telangana BJP President, Lakshman announced that his party will give an Unemployment Allowance of 3000 Per Month if voted to Power in 2019. Congress previously announced this as 2000 Rupees.
Telangana BJP is also formulating their 2019 manifesto with several such populist schemes and they will be announced very soon. Besides all this, the fact is that the Saffron Party is still trailing in the third position in all the recent surveys.
