Telangana Elections heat is completely on with the polling just a fortnight away. After a small break for Diwali, the campaign has picked up once again.
The big leaders of the major parties are restarting the public meetings once again.
The simultaneous battle on Social Media is going unabated regardless of holidays.
A look at the social media, it appears like BRS and Congress are taking head on head but BJP is totally out of the race.
BRS is banking more on influencers and small artists to drive the campaign that Telangana is shining in the nine years of KCR’s rule. The social media is full of such reels and videos.
Congress seems to have got a very effective and wonderful campaign. Sunil Kangolu-designed ads are grabbing eyeballs as the bullet points-like message in the ads is catchy. They have invoked KCR himself in the ads.
The ads have gone viral on social media. They were telecast on TV as well but Congress’s campaign hit a roadblock after the Election Commission banned these ads on TV. However, they are still going viral on social media and WhatsApp.’
At this point, Congress looks ahead of the BRS and we will have to see if they will be able to impact the voters.
On the other side, the BJP has completely gone missing in this space. The Saffron Party is not making any effort to produce quality ads whatever they deliver are of very poor quality and are not making any impact.
There are rumors in the political circles that BJP lacks proper funding to hire a proper social media agency. The Central BJP reportedly refused funds to the state unit for the election and asked them to pool their own resources.
