High court of Andhra pradeshTelangana government had decided on the shifting of Assembly, Council and Secretariat buildings. Now the state government changed its stance. Telangana will retain the existing building. Since AP is keen on moving out of AP as soon as possible that should not be a problem. Even if they plan to station the high court in Hyderabad once the high court division is done, Telangana government will show them an alternate location.

The current high court buildings were built by 7th Nizam, Mir Usman Ali Khan in 1920. After a fire accident in 2009, the buildings were repaired and also elaborate arrangements were made for the parking and security. And so Telangana government felt there is no need to shift the high court building.
