Telangana government earlier announced its plan of setting up hardware clusters in Maheswaram, Medchal and Ghatkesar. But the companies are reluctant to come forward due to the unavailability of the work force. Most of the hardware students are also opting careers in IT and most of them hardly develop a chip since they don’t have much exposure to practical knowledge.

The problem is very bigger than any one’s imagination starting from the social issue like lack of interest to technical issues like improper courses. Also the engineering colleges are finding it tough to maintain the facilities required for the courses and are also finding it tough get proper staff.
