Telugu Family Shattered On Thanksgiving Day In U.S.A Telugu couple met with a tragic accident on Thanksgiving day around 12.45 pm. Their vehicle had a head-on collision with another car, and Sreeja passed away before she was taken to the hospital.

Her husband needed emergency surgeries and is still in the hospital, making slow progress in recovery. Incidentally, two others were involved in the car accident. The accident occurred on Altamont Pass and Northfront roads on a rural Alameda County Road.

A blue Honda Civic Sedan and a silver Toyota Prius were involved in the accident. The Honda was driving eastbound on Altamount Pass at speeds of between 40 and 50 mph when it crossed double yellow lines in an attempt at passing. It was eastbound on a westbound lane and crashed into a Toyota driving westbound at the same speed.

The cops say that alcohol is not believed to be a reason for the collision, which is usually the cause for accidents to occur on Thanksgiving day.

Apart from Sreeja, three others were injured in the incident, and all were admitted to the hospital. While the condition of late Sreeja’s husband is critical, the other two sustained minor injuries though they are in hospital.

The kith and kin of the Telugu family are distraught by the news, and a fundraiser has been started to provide financial assistance for the family to ensure Sreeja’s mortal remains come to India and the cremation rituals are done in India.
