As the tragic news broke in Uvalde, an anxious crowd of over 300 people gathered as devastated parents tried to confirm whether their kids were among those dead in the mass killings at Robb Elementary School.

The parents were told students were being taken to the SSGT Willie de Leon Civic Center, which quickly became the epicenter for families looking for their children. Heartbreaking scenes of devastation began to play out as victims were identified.

According to reports, the parents were asked for DNA swabs to confirm their relationships with the dead children and were instructed to wait hours for confirmation.

A father who was informed that his child was killed fought tears as many of his cousins embraced him. A few meters away, a grandma who had just driven from San Antonio was saying she would be praying for her 10-year-old granddaughter as they waited for the DNA swab results.

The cops have identified the shooter as Salvador Ramos (18), who was killed by police officers responding to the violence in Uvalde, a rural town in Texas.

According to witnesses, some children survived the massacre, crawled through windows to escape, and hid in a funeral home. The reports suggest that some children remain missing.

It is a known fact that the US government gives its people the right to own a firearm. Therefore, guns are as easy to find in the USA as you get vegetables and fruits in India. This has resulted in more than 1.5 million deaths due to gun violence in the last 50 years in America.

In the USA, it is very easy to get a firearm. All it takes are…
