The Tirumala ghee adulteration case created ripples among Telugu states and Lord Venkateswara devotees world over. Ex CM Jagan Reddy brushed aside allegations saying there could have been some contamination, but there were no animal fats as alleged earlier.
Now, the entire nation is glued to the viral video of national media journalist Arnab Goswami who did not mince words while questioning Jagan Reddy regarding the adulteration.
I believe you are a Christian, but you have no right to tamper with the sentiments and faith of 100 crore Hindus in India, Arnab blasted. He went on to say that the adulteration also involved Rs 600 crores of money. Arnab said that the issue has been the center of a political battle in Andhra Pradesh and rightly so.
Arnab said the contamination and adulteration was a direct violation of Hindu sentiments. He said Jagan must remember every morning and night that there are 100 crore Hindus in India. He said that Jagan‘s callous attitude towards the entire case cannot be tolerated. A Supreme Court-led report said that the prasadam was tampered with all these chemicals, said Arnab in his charecteristic style.
Synthetic ghee, palm oil, kernel oil, palmolein oil, lactic acid, acetic acid, ester, monoglycerides, beta carotene, ghee flavour – all the contaminants were flashed on the screen as Arnab shamed Jagan Reddy for his attitude regarding the case.
Netizens are making the clipping viral as the sentiments of Hindus were deeply hurt when the news broke after Chandrababu government came to power in Andhra Pradesh in 2024.
