BARC released the ratings of Telugu News Channels for Week 3 of this year for AP and Telangana. In the 15+ age group category, NTV and TV9 are the Top 2 positions.
NTV has got 74.3 while TV9 has got 68.3 ratings. Telangana Channel V6 is in third position while TV5 is in fourth.
It is interesting to note how V6 is still doing well even after the Telangana elections.
Sakshi and ABN are the next two positions.
TV9 which has acted as a mouthpiece of BRS in the recent elections is continuing the similar stand in Andhra Pradesh as well.
NTV usually also leans towards YSR Congress but then it has become alert after the Telangana elections and is taking a neutral approach even though it is still tilted towards the Ruling Party.
T-News, 10TV, and ETV Andhra Pradesh are in seventh, eighth, and ninth positions.
