NTV has been in the Number One position in BARC ratings for quite some time now. TV9 which was a market leader once was waiting for its chance. In June, TV9 came back in the Number One slot for a couple of weeks.
It has created a massive publicity blitzkrieg for this triumph but the happiness was shortlived. Much to its embarrassment, NTV got back into the Number One spot and maintained it till recently.

TV9 got back into the Number One position last week in BARC Ratings with just a 0.1% difference over NTV. This time it maintained silent. The management planned a publicity drive only when the Number One position was retained for 3-4 weeks.
BARC released the ratings for Week 33 earlier today.

TV9 ratings dropped drastically when compared to last week (77.3 to 75.8) and as a result, NTV is back in the Number One spot (77.5). So, the happiness of TV9 is short-lived.
Coming to other channels, YSR Congress’s mouthpiece, Sakshi is in eighth position (15.2) while TV5 (32.7) is in fourth position and ABN (21.7) is in fifth.
