Vallabhaneni Vamsi Out of Jail After 137 Days

The Supreme Court heard Vallabhaneni Vamsi’s case regarding cancellation of bail petition in illegal mining case. The counsel for AP government said there were proofs of Vamsi making Rs 196 crore through illegal mining.

Siddharth Luthra also told the Apex Court that there was a 700 page report on the matter. He asked the Court to cancel the bail given by the High Court.

The jury on the case told the Andhra Pradesh government to submit the report in a sealed cover. The next hearing has been scheduled for July 17.

A case was filed on Vallabhaneni Vamsi and his associates for carrying out illegal mining in Vijayawada Rural, Bapulapadu and Gannavaram. A case was filed by Gannavaram police on May 14 following a complaint by a Krishna district mining officer.

On May 29, Vallabhaneni Vamsi was granted anticipatory bail in the case by the Andhra Pradesh High Court. However, the AP government approached Supreme Court for cancellation of bail to Vamsi.




Meanwhile, Vallabhaneni Vamsi is out of jail as he got bail in fake land pattas case in the High Court on Tuesday. His wife Pankajasri came to receive him. He is out of jail after 137 days.
