
Vangaveeti Radhakrishna met up with CM Chandrababu Naidu in the Secretariat on Wednesday evening. As the nominated posts are being filled, there is talk that Radha might get a post.
Radha is said to have met Chandrababu regarding the matter. It was expected that Radha would be made an MLC after 5 seats fell vacant. But one seat each went to Jana Sena and BJP and Radha was left out. Radha is said to have spent half an hour with the CM.

Meanwhile, the process of filling nominated posts has caught speed. The government’s efforts to fill the Agriculture Market Committee (AMC) chairmen posts is back on track.
Of the 218 AMCs, 47 AMCs’ chairmen were nominated on March 28, 2025. In another 4,5 days, 50 chairmen will be nominated.

The rest will be filled in another 15 days. It is said that the CM is collecting feedback from the village level, resulting in delay. Chandrababu is trying his best to fill the posts with best candidates while pleasing various people.
At the same time, the government is likely to appoint temple committees. Next, they will focus on Primary Agriculture Credit Societies (PACS). There are 2500 PACS in the state. Last elections for PACS were held in 2023. After that, they were running the show with nominated chairmen or person in-charge.
