A person named Tulasi Babu Kamepalli was arrested last night in the custodial torture case of Deputy Speaker, Ragu Rama Krishna Raju.
Tulasi Babu was called for questioning to Prakasam District Police Station the other day in connection with this case. He arrived in a big convoy of cars full of his followers and threatened the police with dire consequences.

All the cars have the stickers of Gudivada MLA Venigalla Ramu.
By this time, you may be confused. Yes, Tulasi Babu is a TDP leader and you may be confused as to why he is accused in another TDP leader’s custodial torture case.

The details, RRR was tortured in CID Custody in 2021. IPS Officer Vijay Paul was the investigating officer and he was taken into custody recently. Back then, RRR accused that three people came from outside and tortured him. Tulasi Babu was one of them.
After the Government got changed, the investigation picked pace and the Police ratified Tulasi Babu’s role.

Tulasi Babu is a native of Prakasam district and is rumored to be a relative of Sunil Kumar IPS who was the CID Chief in Jagan’s rule.
He was infamous for troubling the TDP leaders including Chandrababu Naidu. Sunil Kumar is also a relative of Venigandla Ramu, the TDP MLA of Gudivada.
Tulasi Babu has a Political Consultancy and worked closely with PV Sunil Kumar in many cases including RRR’s case out of his personal interest.

There are rumors that he is being a Shadow MLA in Gudivada. Now, he is threatening the Government itself with the support of Venigandla Ramu.
Raghu Rama Krishna Raju was the first leader to revolt against Jagan’s tyrannical rule. Recently, Nara Lokesh announced that RRR helped him a lot when Chandrababu was jailed. Moreover, he is the Deputy Speaker now.
In RRR Custodial Torture Case, the entire Jagan ecosystem is involved. Tulasi Babu can not get any exemption when he is involved in such a high-profile case.
Venigandla Ramu should not interfere in this case or try to protect Tulasi Babu for any reason.
In fact, he should distance himself from such people.
Venigandla Ramu has special respect in the TDP for being a Giant Killer by defeating Kodali Nani. He should not spoil that name by supporting people like Tulasi Babu.
TDP High Command should summon Ramu and ask him to choose between Tulasi Babu and the Party.
