Earthquakes struck the Telugu states on Wednesday morning between 7 and 8 am. The tremors, centered near Mulugu, had an impact within a radius of about 225 kilometers and lasted for approximately 5 seconds.

One significant area affected by the earthquake was the Sammakka-Sarakka fields. A CCTV camera installed at Sarakka Gadde captured the incident as it happened. The footage showed three people present near a Gadde during the tremors. The puja was being performed there.

A 5.3 magnitude earthquake hit the state’s Mulugu district, which is reportedly the second biggest recorded in the region in the last 55 years.

The video revealed that the iron grills surrounding the area were swaying due to the tremors. The movement of the cameras themselves confirmed the intensity of the earthquake. These visuals clearly indicated the ground shaking at the site.

The tremors were felt in Vijayawada, Jaggayapet, and surrounding villages. The tremors were also felt in Nujiveed and Dwarakathirumala areas. Prathipadu in Kakinada district and parts of the Mylavaram constituency, and the Warangal city faced slight tremors.

Earthquakes were reported in Kothagudem town and Manuguru sub-division as well. Parts of Hyderabad, including Borabanda, Rahmat Nagar, Karmika Nagar, and Yusufguda, reported mild tremors.
