YCP Minister Seediri Appalraju picked up a verbal fight against election officers yesterday at his Palasa constituency. The video of him threatening the officials is now going viral all over social media.
Getting into details, Appalraju is contesting for an MLA seat from Palasa in these elections. Meanwhile, his campaign vehicle and his convoy were stopped by the election officials on Friday.
Upon checking, Officer Asha Latha said that the campaign vehicle was against the rules of the election code.
Appalraju erupted in anger and told his followers, “Hand over the vehicle and 1 lakh rupees to her. She will decorate it as per the rules and return it to us.”
The officer questioned why Appalraju was picking up a fight when she was simply explaining election protocols.
The Minister was triggered once again and warned that he wouldn’t tolerate if his campaign vehicle is stopped once again.
He also challenged her to report to whomever she wanted, questioning if she was the only one in the state doing election duty.
Netizens who watched the video condemned Appalraju’s disrespectful attitude towards the female officer and urged the election commission to take disciplinary action against him.
