As Vijayawada faces its worst natural disaster, opposition leader Jagan made a brief visit, using the opportunity to turn the situation into a political issue.
Despite his short visit, Jagan and his party did little to assist the affected people. Instead, he blamed Chandrababu Naidu and his government, claiming nothing was being done and that there were no relief centers or government aid. His speech was filled with the usual political blame, even though he spent only a brief time there.

On the other hand, KTR tweeted, acknowledging Chandrababu Naidu’s efforts in Andhra Pradesh:
“Six rescue helicopters and 150 rescue boats are being used by neighboring Andhra Pradesh @ncbn Govt. Guess how many helicopters and boats our Telangana CM managed to save lives? A BIG ZERO. #CongressFailedTelangana,” KTR tweeted.

Now, the bigger question is: Who is playing dirty politics while people are suffering—Jagan or Chandrababu?
The people of Andhra Pradesh are watching closely. Chandrababu has mobilized his entire machinery, personally visiting flood-affected areas every few hours. He is ignoring Jagan and focusing entirely on crisis management, which is a good and much-needed approach at this time.
