Enforcement Directorate (ED) had intensified investigation in Delhi Liquor Scam. Sarath Chandra Reddy and Liquor Businessman Vinay Babu were arrested in this case.
Sarath Chandra is questioned by ED in relation with this case on September 21st, 22nd, and 23rd. Sarath Chandra and Vinay Babu into Liquor Scam running into several crores.
Sarath Chandra, the brother of P Rohit Reddy, happens to be the son-in-law of Vijay Sai Reddy.
His father P V Ramprasad Reddy is the original promoter of the Aurobindo Pharma, in which Sarath Chandra and Rohit are the directors.
They are accused of alleged corruption in the formulation and implementation of the excise policy for the National Captial. Even the name of Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia also cropped up in this Scam.
Since AAP and BJP are at loggerheads, the Union Government is taking this case very seriously.
