YSR Congress Nellore Rural MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy recently broke down in a live Television debate against some of the party leaders conspiring against him.
Today, he protested against his own government for neglecting issues in his constituency.
The MLA staged a unique protest by sitting in a sewage canal to protest officials’ negligence in addressing the long pending drainage issue in Ummaredy Gunta of his constituency.
The MLA says he tried to move the officials on the issue for a long time but they would not care.
He demanded that the railway and corporation officials take up the work by giving a written guarantee.
A bridge should be constructed over the flood canal at Chanakyapuri, 31st Division of Nellore Rural Constituency to solve the problem.
The bridge is one of the election promises of Sridhar Reddy and the YSR Congress but that did not move an inch in the three years.
A sitting MLA protesting against officials of his own government is a huge embarrassment for the ruling party.
If a sitting MLA had to sit on a protest for getting work done in his own constituency, it is a big shame.
