Andhra Pradesh Assembly heats up as Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu and Leader of Opposition Jagan Mohan Reddy lock horns at each other. Fresh after the defeat, Jagan tried to corner Telugu Desam Party on the implementation of poll promises. On the other side Chandra Babu is responded equally well. Their heated arguments just spicing up things in the Assembly.
Chandra Babu today assured the Assembly that they will very soon attain surplus power. He said that they have done it in the past and will do it again. At that time, YSR Congress mentioned about cases on farmers during their agitation against hike in power prices during Babu’s previous regime. Chandra Babu then reacted sharply saying that they only put cases on thieves and they will be doing it again too. He clearly said that his government will not allow thieves to roam freely and they will certainly be booked (indirect reference to Jagan).
It was then YSR Congress MLAs cleverly manipulated the issue and protested telling that Babu is mentioning farmers as thieves. It was then Chandra Babu came up with a witting reply, said he is saddened if some one is personally (again referring to Jagan) hurt. He cleared he not targeting any individual but is only referring to thieves who looted the system.
