Media Reports are emerging that Former Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajagopal is contemplating a Political Comeback and YSR Congress is in talks with him. The party is planning to field him for Narasaraopeta Lok Sabha seat. But then the man in the question, Lagadapati is silent.

But then sources close to him say that these are mere speculations. “Lagadapati has an offer from YSR Congress even before 2014 and the offer is open even now. But then for some reason, Lagadapati do not want to join the Jagan’s Party and I do not think his opinion on Jagan changed much even today,” the source said.
“There is no thought of Political Comeback as of now in his circles or followers. If at all he does, he will be contemplating to join a National Party due to his Business interests. BJP can be an option only if the Special Status Sentiment is Zero before the next elections. Congress is already ruled out,” the source added.
Lagadapati for sure could not contest from his earlier Vijayawada Lok Sabha position as the locals are not happy with his performance in his previous tenures. YSR Congress is keen on using his ‘Samayikya Andhra’ image and field him from Narasaraopeta if at all he agrees to join the party.
