There are rumours that Telangana Rashtra Samiti is looking towards an alliance with TDP (TS) in 2019 elections. This came as a surprise for everyone and surprisingly, KCR and other TRS leaders did not condemn the news until now.

Minister Tummala Nageshwara Rao even declared that he will sit across the table with TDP if the supremo wants to. Another Minister, Talasani Srinivas Yadav went on to say that CM KCR will decide if or not to have an alliance with TDP (TS) even though he feels that there is no TDP (TS) in the state.
The Question now is who is the deciding factor in the alliance if it happens. It is obvious that both KCR and Naidu should agree for the alliance but then who should take the final decision. In Telangana, TDP (TS) may be benefitted immediately from the alliance.
But the long-term benefit will go to TRS as TDP (TS) will never recover in the state due to the alliance. So, it will be an easy decision for KCR to make. But Chandrababu should give a profound thought to this as it will have implications in Andhra politics as well. In a way, it is Chandrababu’s decision to make the alliance happen if at all it happens.
