Following this defeat, BRS working president KT Rama Rao took to Twitter and stated that both national parties, BJP and Congress, will be far from achieving the magic figure on their own in the 2029 elections.
He opined that strong regional parties will hold the key to the formation of the next union government. He further remarked that the people of Haryana did not fall for the Congress Party’s fake guarantees like those in Karnataka and Telangana.

Meanwhile, people on social media have questioned KTR, asking when BRS became a regional party. It is already known that KCR changed the party’s name from Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) to Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) in order to go national and compete with the national parties.
However, after the defeat in the assembly elections, BRS’s national plans were dropped, and even in the Lok Sabha polls, it decided to contest only in Telangana. In that, too, it failed to win a single seat.
