Teenmaar Mallanna has sparked controversy by degrading the caste census carried out by Telangana government. He also made insulting comments about the Reddy community.
The MLC said – “Reddys should drink our urine. Burn the BC caste census report to ashes with urine.” But the surprising part is that neither Revanth Reddy or the Congress has taken a strong stand on such a sensitive issue.
The statement was made by Teenmaar Mallanna at a BC meet directly hitting out at Reddys. It has to be noted that Mallanna is a close aide of CM Revanth Reddy.
There was a time when Teenmaar Mallanna begged for a cup of tea on YouTube. Today, he flies between Hyderabad and Warangal in an helicopter.
Despite repeated hate speeches, neither Revanth Reddy nor the Congress leaders seem to be perturbed by his comments.
This has created a flutter in political circles. The opposition coterie feels this is Telangana Congress Party’s way of diverting public attention from public policies.
Some feel it is Congress’ way of creating caste politics. Those in opposition are questioning if this is T Cong’s real face – to divide the people and avoid accountability.
Some others feel addressing Teenmaar Mallanna and his likes will only give them more publicity!
