In a shocking crime revelation, a young Indian man named Mayank Patel, 27, has pleaded guilty to multiple federal charges of sex-related crimes. And also admitted he was a part of 30 online communities, which traded sexually-explicit imagery of minors on online platforms.
Mayank M Patel of Lexington has pleaded guilty in the US Eastern District Court to one count of producing content involving a minor candidate in sexually explicit content.
The authorities found Patel’s phone number had contact with multiple online communities that are in connection with child sex abuse.
His MacBook and iPhone had videos and photos of obscene content related to child pornography. The same is being used as the evidence against him now.
Patel now faces a maximum of 50 years in prison, $500,000 in fines and supervised release between 10 years and life.
