Leader of Opposition, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s comment of toppling the government in one hour, triggered Operation Akarsha from the ruling party in which Jagan had to lose eight MLAs and one MLC. However Jagan claims that he never tried to topple the government but it is the media who quoted him in wrong context.

“Is it correct misquoting me? I talked for 13 minutes that day, telecast it and you will know the truth. Ask your conscience. I am ready for any punishment if I am wrong? Are you ready if you are wrong?,” Jagan angrily asked the media. However Jagan clearly said that day when he got the numbers needed, he will topple the government in one hour.
Jagan seem to be very annoyed by what media did here as his statement became a cause for the ruling party to trigger defections. The Opposition leader should also think of those affected by his media as they go on churning news with political motive. Sakshi media is even hellbent on tarnishing the state image in the process.
