There is a new trend that is emerging in South Indian politics where politicians are making increased efforts to maintain cordial relationship relationships with their counterparts.
This was previously seen in the case of the newly nominated CM of Tamil Nadu, Thalapathy Vijay. Immediately after becoming the chief minister of Tamil Nadu, he took the occasion to meet the biggest names in Tamil politics.
Vijay personal event and met former chief minister Stalin along with several other senior politicians in Tamil Nadu. A similar scenario was observed in the case of Karnataka yesterday when newly nominated CM DK Siva Kumar also went to visit his political counterparts.
Siva Kumar went to meet former CM Yediyurappa, Deve Gowda and others. This was a positive gesture from the new CM to go on to meet some of the big names in Karnataka politics.
While people might get accustomed to viewing this neighbouring states like Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, this is going to be a distant dream in Andhra Pradesh.
After the arrival of YS Jagan in politics, everything has become monotonous and battle-oriented. The previous camaraderie that was observed in the bonding between Rajasekhar Reddy and Chandrababu is no longer the case. It is Babu that remains constant while Jagan turns out to be completely the opposite of his father.
So watching Jagan arrive at the residence of Chandrababu or vice versa in Andhra Pradesh, politics is not going to happen in the future. So those who are watching Karnataka and Tamil Nadu politics with positive reinforcement must not keep any expectations of such activities in AP.
