YS Sharmila

Ever since she assumed the position of the APCC president, YS Sharmila has been constantly attacking and exposing the atrocities of her brother and YSR Congress Party’s chief, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

There was a big verbal war between Sharmila and YCP troops during the elections. As of now, politicians are in a bit of a relaxed mode after the polling.

However, Sharmila didn’t take much time and resumed her fight against Jagan. Today, she took to social media to explain the sad state of women’s safety in the state under Jagan Mohan Reddy’s rule.

Recently, a 13-year-old minor girl was raped by her senior at a government school in Mandavilli town of the Eluru district. The police have arrested the culprit and his four friends who allegedly recorded the assault on their mobile phones. Allegedly, the accused individuals also circulated the clip of the attack after the victim’s parents failed to give the demanded amount of Rs. 2 lakhs.

Sharmila shared the news report of the incident and stated that the Chief Minister who loudly shouts “My sisters, my mothers, my grandmothers” on the mic, is currently ignoring the cries and pleas of women in his state.

“Dear Chief Minister, the whole country is talking about the sad state of women’s safety in our state under your rule. You will not hear the cries of our women as you are carelessly roaming in the streets of London,” said Sharmila.
